This CLE will discuss the recent Crypto bankruptcies specific to New York (and NJ) bankruptcy courts, such as such as Blockfi, Celsius and Genesis. We will discuss what caused them to file, the specific legal issues the face, where the bankruptcy process they are in, and what we could expect next. We will discuss court rulings and contested matters. We will also discuss what is happening in other districts and compare and contrast the legal issues and how the respective courts dealt with them.
