The program is developed to review issues and best practices for analyzing a licensed patent portfolio. The program will provide and discuss recent court decisions that affect how we review both the patent portfolio and the license covering it. Issues covered include due diligence best practices, analyzing rights and obligations in license agreements, determining limitations from portfolios and prior licenses and looking for “white space”, and crafting license terms to achieve desired outcomes.
