MODERATED-Session 9 of 10 - Mr. Kornblum, a highly experienced trial and litigation lawyer for over 50 years, will conduct ten 75-minute Webinars sessions on the Essentials of Civil Litigation with the objective of helping lawyers at all levels to evaluate their approach to handling civil cases. The course will explore what you need to consider and how to focus on refining your skills so you can better serve your client in litigated matters. The course will cover topics from when you first agree to represent your client through trial.**In Session Nine, Mr. Kornblum will explore his views towards the timing of settlement discussions and outline his thoughts as well on when and how to approach resolution. He will discuss the timing of these efforts as well as what to consider in making the overture for negotiation. The author of the 1000-page book, “Negotiating and Settling Tort Cases: Reaching the Settlement” (available to attendees at a special publisher’s price), Mr. Kornblum will provide his outline of how to fashion a strategy which leads to a resolution that is in the best interest of your client.
