This program will address the ethical obligations of lawyers with regard to the ever-changing technology changes that are present in the day-to-day practice of law. Issues presented will include challenges presented by working from home as well as cyber-security risks presented by the use of common apps and the use of mobile devices. The duties of supervising lawyers will also be discussed. The application of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct including duties of competence and the duty of confidentiality will be discussed.
