The pandemic and concurrent racial protests and race-based violence have had unique impacts on the well-being of attorneys from underrepresented groups. Marlon Lutfiyya, Director of Talent & Diversity at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP and Dr. Sharon Meit Abrahams, President of Legal Talent Advisors will share what law firms and legal departments can do to address the unique challenges and enhance the well-being of these attorneys.  

 

They will:  

• Discuss how law firms and legal departments can engage their whole populations in acknowledging and addressing challenges that uniquely impact attorneys from underrepresented groups.  

• Discuss how more flexible work arrangements in the new normal may impact organizations’ diversity and inclusion efforts. 

• Outline three specific initiatives that law firms and legal departments can implement to retain their diverse populations.
