The program will cover the basics of cyber insurance with an emphasis on the pitfalls of various common exclusions and how to avoid them when acquiring insurance and making claims under a cyber insurance policy. The program will emphasize avoiding three exclusions: taking reasonable precautions against cyber hacks by acquiring and properly using certified software or other precautions; the statutory/ governmental action exclusion and the clause providing for compensation of damages after a malware attack.
