Restrictive Covenants are being used more and more by employers in employment contracts or offers of employment. Most of these Restrictive Covenants prevent the employee after leaving the employer from working in a similar industry for a certain amount of time, and in a certain geographical location. The problem is that in most circumstances, restrictive covenants are not necessary and are being used more and more to simply harass their former employees.

This webinar should assist the practitioner in fully understanding when restrictive covenants should not be used and if used, what language they should contain.
