Recent Data Privacy Legislation and Big Data: What Businesses and Practitioners Need to Know

This program will offer an overview of the latest legislative developments in Big Data, including a discussion of new regulations that model the California Consumer Privacy Act. Particular focus will be placed on the level of understanding businesses (and their lawyers) must have to comply with regulations and protect themselves in the event of misuse or improper commercialization of customer personal information.
