We are living in unprecedented times. The world appears to have come to a standstill but thats not exactly what is happening. History has proven that Innovation is not just the child of necessity but also the out birth of how our world has risen from disasters, such as war, famine, and disease. This presentation will delve into human historys innovations and inventions that have helped humanity triumph over disaster and strife and how notions of intellectual property have pushed civilization forward. Though it is true that protecting and commercializing what one invents or creates to help in COVID-19 times may not be everybodys prerogative, this presentation will explore those who are Innovating, Protecting and Commercializing and those who are not within the backdrop of Intellectual Property laws.
