This program will address the obligations of employers to tolerate or accommodate legalized and/or medical marijuana use, providing examples of the divergent approaches adopted by state governments, as well as best practices for developing drug testing and accommodation policies for your applicants and employees. Attendees will learn about the intersection between state and federal laws in this area, the trends in legalization nationally, and how to address cannabis use by applicants and employees at every phase of the employment relationship -- from hiring, to performance management, to termination.
