Ashley R. Lynam, Esq. will present on the monumental and historic decision of Bostock v. Clayton County in which the Supreme Court held that an employer who fires an individual for being homosexual or transgender violates Title VII. The presentation will explore the significance of the decision itself, explain its ruling and application to businesses nationwide, and explore best practices to prepare for necessary policy, practice and training changes required to create a safe, inclusive and compliant workplace. The presentation will explore the problem of pre-textual firings and prepare counsel, company and carriers for how best to protect both their businesses and workforces.
