Addressing the sensitive subjects of incapacity, death and health care are not either seamless or palatable. While lawyers may assist in drafting most items, there are some items that are

delegated to hospitals or providers. Some forms and other requirements vary by state. The purpose of this webinar, which is helpful to a variety of practice areas, as well as personally for attorneys and staff, is to clarify the healthcare related documents and different issues that arise in family members, clients and patients who do not have the correct forms, the timing of completion of the forms and state law considerations.

Objectives:

  • Understand the applications and state nuances of different forms.
  • Appreciate why decision-making capacity is material.
  • Learn how to avoid common pitfalls and create a checklist for client and personal use.
