Exciting new series on “Voice, Body and Movement for Lawyers – How to connect with the jury and find Justice Through Dramatic Technique!”
Click here to find out moreThe American military\'s overseas commitments over the last five years have had a dramatic effect on workplaces at home, in large measure because of the rights granted to uniformed service members under the federal law known as the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. Enacted in 1994, USERRA establishes the rights, benefits and obligations for employees who serve or have served in the uniformed services, and sets forth rules that employers must comply with concerning veterans\' employment and reemployment rights. Its protections are sweeping and more comprehensive than the rights granted to employees under other employment laws. Join our presenters as they address substantive issues and obligations of employers under USERRA, provide practical advice to address the questions that employers often have about these issues, and highlight recent case law in this developing area of the law.
