This program will provide a detailed look into New York State’s climate change law known as the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). Enacted in 2019, the CLCPA set aspirational climate change goals for New York with a focus on renewable energy projects, energy storage capacity, and transportation and building efficiency.
This program will discuss the background and foundation of the CLCPA and dive into the details on how New York State is implementing the CLCPA, what the State has accomplished so far, and how the State is steadfastly moving towards achieving its climate change goals.
