This is an exciting time for supersonic commercial air travel. After two decades of no commercial supersonic passenger transportation, airlines are now contracting to buy new supersonic jets and seeking to reintroduce supersonic passenger air transportation by the end of this decade. However, serious regulatory obstacles remain. Among other things, due to the noise they generate, supersonic jets currently are not allowed to fly over land in the United States. It will take considerable regulatory efforts to achieve the goal of a renaissance in supersonic air travel and airlines and manufacturers who make the right regulatory choices could obtain a material competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The webinar will identify key regulatory issues facing the industry and offer insights and suggestions for overcoming those obstacles.
