Stephanie Schumacher, CAMS, RIMS-CRMP, is a Global Risk Advisor at SightSpan and a risk and compliance leader with more than 20 years of experience across traditional banking, FinTech, payments, lending, and emerging financial services. She specializes in AML and sanctions compliance, enterprise and third-party risk management, and sponsor bank/Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) oversight.

In her current role, Stephanie advises banks, FinTechs, and payment companies on strategic risk, compliance, and governance initiatives across complex and rapidly evolving financial ecosystems. She works closely with executive leadership teams to develop scalable operating models, strengthen oversight frameworks, support product and partnership growth, and navigate evolving regulatory expectations.

Stephanie is an experienced speaker on financial crime, payments risk, and regulatory trends and has served as a guest lecturer in academic settings. She is known for a pragmatic approach to compliance and risk management that emphasizes both regulatory alignment and business enablement.
