This course gives attorneys a basic understanding of the cannabis market. We will review the basic principles of cannabis and what attorneys should expect when applying for a cannabis business license on behalf of their clients. The course will review essential cannabis terminology, the difference between medical and recreational use of cannabis, the various types of cannabis products, cannabis license types, and what is truly involved when applying for a state cannabis business license. We will also discuss what happens after your client receives their license.
