NEW YORK CODE WAS NOT READ - PLEASE REFER TO PROGRAM DOCUMENTATION

Since President Donald Trump took office on January 20, the federal immigration landscape has been drastically transformed, with flurries of executive orders, mass deportations, and waves of litigation challenging executive, legal and administrative actions.

There are many individuals and families waiting in the DHS backlog to be processed. We have individuals who are undocumented – with children who are either U.S. citizens or undocumented themselves who have never visited or lived in the country of their parents. They don't have any connection with that country.

Options of the children of undocumented parents may be limited at this time; nevertheless, the options highlighted at this MCLE may offer solutions to many families. There is no one size that fits all solutions, and hopefully many families could take advantage of the available options presented to them during our presentation until Congress passes appropriate laws to assist families who are here, are raising (or have raised) their children here, are paying taxes, and are an integral part of our society.
