Richard  Koblentz, Esq.

Richard S. Koblentz is our majority partner and has been a member of the Ohio Bar since 1975.  Since his admission to the bar, Rich has been engaged in the general practice of law with an emphasis on litigation.  Currently, Rich devotes the greatest portion of his practice to the area of professional responsibility which includes, but is not limited to, legal ethics, attorney discipline, bar admission representation, representation in the areas of attorney conflicts of interest, disqualification of counsel, law firm formations and dissolutions, legal malpractice representation as both plaintiff and defense counsel and service as an expert witness.  Rich also practices in the areas of complex and general civil litigation, both general and white collar criminal defense, probate, real estate, small business counseling and domestic relations.

Rich has been a presenter at continuing legal education seminars on well over 100 occasions throughout the state of Ohio as well as several other states on behalf of a number of governmental and judicial bodies, law schools, bar associations and proprietary organizations.  Rich has also appeared on numerous occasions as a guest lecturer at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and the University of Akron Law School.

Rich has been rated "AV" and listed by Martindale-Hubbell in the bar register of preeminent lawyers since 1990 and has on numerous occasions been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer in Cincinnati Magazine and a Leading Lawyer in Northeast Ohio by Inside Business Magazine.
