Lisa M. Ledbetter, Esq., a partner at Jones Day, advises U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions on strategic, regulatory, enforcement, and compliance matters before federal and state agencies, including the Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Her practice covers commercial banking, consumer retail banking, and mortgage banking, and she regularly speaks and writes on these issues. Before joining Jones Day, Ms. Ledbetter was deputy general counsel for Freddie Mac advising on all aspects of regulation, activities, investments, and legislation, and she was formerly deputy director of the Office of Policy Development at the FDIC and senior counsel for Regulation, Assessments, Finance and Funding.
