Jeffrey  Campolongo, Esq.

For two decades, Jeffrey Campolongo has been perfecting his brand of law, emerging as one of the region’s premier employment and entertainment lawyers. Mr. Campolongo founded his boutique law practice in 2002 and since then has been singularly devoted to counseling employees, professionals and small businesses in employment discrimination and human resource matters, as well as guiding aspiring and established artists and entertainers regarding various legal issues arising in the entertainment and media industries. Mr. Campolongo also lectures and trains start-up and emerging businesses on business formation issues. Mr. Campolongo was recently featured in Philadelphia Style Magazine as one of Philadelphia’s Best Influencers and Contributors Of Our Community.

Mr. Campolongo is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Pennsylvania Supreme Court, New Jersey Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Campolongo is a proud graduate of Villanova University, where he majored in Sociology and minored in African Studies and Spanish. Before going on to attend Widener University School of Law, Mr. Campolongo received local notoriety as host and personality of the music-television program Live on Stage.

More recently, Mr. Campolongo received the “Outstanding Service Award” from his alma mater, an award recognizing one alumnus from the nation’s largest law school for outstanding service to the legal profession. Recognized on an annual basis as one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers™, Mr. Campolongo was selected as one of only 35 attorneys in the entire state as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” for being one of the future leaders of the state’s legal community. In the courtroom, Mr. Campolongo had one of the highest civil rights and employment verdicts as mentioned in “Top PA Verdicts of 2013.”

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Campolongo is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (The Grammy’s Organization). Mr. Campolongo has served on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and as a volunteer board member of the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization in New York City, which is charged with investigating and certifying women owned businesses for WBENC. Mr. Campolongo also serves as a member of the Legal Network for Gender Equity and The TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund, spearheaded by members of the entertainment and employment law industries to help individuals who face workplace sexual harassment in connection with the #MeToo movement. Mr. Campolongo was recently appointed as a volunteer attorney for the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law, a non-profit legal services organization that represents all detained immigrant children in the United States through the Flores v. Sessions class action case and assists with reunifying separated children at the U.S. Border.

Mr. Campolongo is a published author and highly sought public speaker while continuing to write a monthly column published in the Legal Intelligencer, having published well over a hundred articles. Mr. Campolongo also co-authored a chapter for the 3rd, 4th and 5th editions of the Pennsylvania Employment Law Deskbook, an award-winning book, written by some of the best employment lawyers in Pennsylvania.
