Danielle  Lesser, Esq.

Danielle Lesser, partner and chair of the Business Litigation Department at Morrison Cohen, is an experienced trial attorney, known for her ability to resolve complex commercial disputes involving business, real estate and employment matters. Danielle’s clients, which include publicly traded companies, privately held businesses, partnerships, LLCs and high-net-worth individuals across industries ranging from real estate to consumer products, hire Danielle because they want to “win.” She partners with her clients to discuss their optimal resolution then develops a strategy and budget to make that happen – whether by trial, appeal, or resolution before trial. Danielle’s diverse practice involves all phases of litigation.

Danielle litigates a wide range of complex cases in state and federal courts and in arbitration. She handles matters ranging from breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, fraud-based claims and claims arising under employment agreements. She also regularly represents mezzanine borrowers to avoid UCC foreclosure sales and advises and litigates employment-related restrictive covenant issues. She is particularly experienced in solving retail tenant disputes and regularly litigates key lease terms commonly found in retail leases.
