Caroline A.  Morgan, Esq.

A former partner and claims manager with a global reinsurer, Caroline knows the importance of aligning litigation goals with short and long-term business objectives. She takes a practical, comprehensive and efficient approach to solving clients’ legal problems, investing time to understand their business priorities in order to meet their litigation needs in a cost-effective manner.

Caroline handles a wide range of business litigation, representing companies in a variety of complex disputes. Through her insurance industry experience, she provides informed advice and an insider’s perspective on an array of insurance and reinsurance matters.

In addition, Caroline counsels companies on compliance with state, federal and international data privacy and breach notification laws, including:

  • The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
  • The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • New York’s Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security Act (SHIELD Act)

She helps clients assess, analyze and manage risks including cross-border discovery; mitigate losses; and achieve cybersecurity best practices.

Her experience includes defending airlines in state and federal courts across the country against claims brought under the Montreal Convention. Caroline was also a secondee in the Aviation Claims Department of a large insurer, where she managed airline hull and liability claims.
