Human Trafficking is both an egregious human rights violation and a violation of federal and state laws. Human trafficking is today’s modern-day slavery with cases reported in every state in the United States.

This training will address the key legal elements of child and adult sex trafficking and labor trafficking and provide examples of how human trafficking intersects with the justice system and will focus on entities and businesses where the intersection is more commonly found. This training aims to improve the ability of legal practitioners to prevent human trafficking driven by the demand and to detect human trafficking victims often hidden in plain view in our justice systems.
