Mr. Levy was born, raised, and educated in New York.  He began his career associated with Shaw Licitra Gulotta Esernio & Schwartz, P.C., a Garden City firm established by his late Uncle, J. Five years later, Mr. Levy accepted an offer to practice in the litigation department of Goldberg Weprin Finkel Goldstein, LLP, an established real estate firm headquartered in New York’s Times Square.  While at Goldberg Weprin, Mr. Levy’s practice focused on commercial, real estate, and bankruptcy litigation, as well as landlord-tenant disputes. The clients Mr. Levy represented included some of Manhattan’s largest real estate developers, purchasers and sellers, commercial landlords and tenants, mortgage and promissory note purchasers, and bankruptcy trustees.

Upon the completion of the first ten years of his career, Mr. Levy established Adam Michael Levy, P.C. in 2013.  Mr. Levy built a thriving commercial and real estate litigation practice from the ground up over the following nine years of his career.  On January 1, 2023, he merged his practice with Andrew Goldenberg’s to create Levy Goldenberg LLP.
