The push for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (“DEI”) has historically been tied to a business case but
in a post-COVID world has become integrated into our lives both at home and in the workplace.
Attendees will learn basic DEI terminology and beginner skills for building and maintaining a
multicultural organization to become positive change agents in our workplaces.
Beginning with a fundamental understanding of DEI, attendees will achieve greater
comprehension of the types and layers of diversity and the growing impact that diversity has in
all aspects of our lives.
Attendees will:
• Define diversity and culture and its impact on relationships within our organizations.
• Recognize and learn the differences of what makes us each unique.
• Understand the ethical duties and responsibilities lawyers have under the ABA model
• rules when it comes to being more inclusive of the diversity around us utilizing ABA
• Model Rules 3.1-3.6 & 8.4.
