In this webinar, Eric Hylton and Don Fort will review the nuts and bolts of criminal tax law, while giving attendees an inside look at current criminal tax trends and cases. The two speakers will pull on their vast experience at the IRS, which included leading the agency’s Criminal Investigations division, to illustrate how the agency prioritizes criminal tax matters and what the agency’s current focuses are today.

Hylton and Fort will also give an overview of the entire enforcement arm at the IRS. They will share with attendees their predictions on what an increased agency budget would mean in terms of bolstered enforcement efforts, including new technologies and hiring strategies that will likely be implemented should Congress approve the larger budget.
