Aaron Katz, Esq., Credit Suisse, is a Director within the Leveraged Finance division of Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC. For the past 4 years, Mr. Katz has been one of the principals of Credit Suisse's Litigation Risk Strategies group, which provides hedging, monetization, funding and other capital solutions for complex litigation situations. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Katz was a Partner in the litigation department of DLA Piper in the firm's New York office, where he represented corporate clients in a variety of commercial, securities, and mass tort matters. He also served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. |

Selvyn Seidel is Chair of the Burford Group Ltd., which funds commercial litigation in the U.S. (national and international) and international arbitration. Mr. Seidel’s background includes 40 years as legal counsel representing businesses in the United States and abroad. Most recently, he was a senior partner at Latham & Watkins. While at Latham, he served, at various times, as Chair of the International Practice, of the International Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group, and of the New York Litigation Department. He has been an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law and is currently an Alumnus Lecturer at Linacre College, Oxford University. He is a frequent lecturer and participant in symposiums, forums, roundtables and other programs given by leading law schools and institutes in the U.S. and U.K. focused on law, business, economics, and finance, and also on civil justice. |
