Michael G. Cleveland, Esq. is a shareholder at Vedder Price P.C. He has practiced labor and employment law for over 30 years and concentrates his practice on employment litigation. He has successfully defended employers in a wide variety of equal employment and other cases in federal and state courts, including trials of race discrimination and age discrimination class action cases which resulted in complete verdicts for the employer defendants, and before administrative agencies and in arbitration. He also advises employers on employment issues and policies. J. Kevin Hennessy, Esq. is a shareholder at Vedder Price P.C. and has represented management for over 25 years, spanning all aspects of labor and employment law. Mr. Hennessy has litigated successfully on behalf of companies from single plaintiff cases to enterprise-wide class actions, and has successfully tried many cases to verdict. He has secured favorable decisions in the Court to Appeals on sexual harassment, NLRB bargaining orders, wrongful discharge, and enforcement of arbitration agreements. He is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and is ranked in the “Top 100 Labor Attorneys in the United States” by the Labor Relations Institute.
