Betsy Brill is the Founder and President of Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd., a Chicago based global philanthropic advisory practice that designs, manages, and supports effective and meaningful charitable giving for individuals and families, the corporate community and established foundations. She holds an MBA in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a certificate in non-profit management from Roosevelt University, and she is the author of numerous articles for legal and financial advisors about Philanthropy. Ms. Brill is a member of Grantmakers Without Borders, The Philanthropic Advisors Network of the Council on Foundations, The National Network of Consultants to Grantmakers, and she was a founding steering committee member of the Chicago Global Donors Network.

David E. Shoub, Esq. is of counsel to the law firm of Anthony J. Madonia & Associates, Ltd., where his practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning and taxation for high net worth individuals, including the design and implementation of comprehensive estate plans (which in turn include estate, income and gift tax planning, as well as charitable planning). Mr. Shoub, who has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1980, is also a CPA. He previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service, and he practiced taxation with Wolf & Company, a national certified public accounting firm, where he served as the National Tax Director of the firm. An active member of national, state and local bar associations and a founding member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, Mr. Shoub frequently lectures on estate planning issues.
