Michael A. Okaty, Esq. is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he is founder and chair of its Senior Living Industry Team. He is a member of the firm's Business Law Department and its Transactional & Securities, Finance & Financial Institutions and Public Finance Practices, as well as the Health Care Industry Team. Mr. Okaty focuses primarily in the areas of corporate and finance law and also serves as an advisor and trustee to high net worth individuals and families. He has experience in a wide variety of corporate law matters, including corporate formation, corporate operations and governance, contract drafting, review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising transactions for both public and private companies. Mr. Okaty, who was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2010 and 2011 in the field of corporate law, also holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in tax law. |
