Matt Karlyn and Michael Pontrelli of Foley & Lardner LLP discuss the ethics of social media, the impact social media is having on complex commercial litigation, and some predications for what the future may hold. The focal point will be legal ethics, including both old and new ethical issues faced by in-house and outside counsel stemming from the uses made of social media--in the workplace itself, in dealing with customers and other outside parties, and in managing litigation.
